Et oui le basilic perd son arome à la cuisson ,c’est une des rares herbes areumtiqaos qui nous fait ce tour de passe passe !je le met toujours en fin de cuisson ou à cru .Sinon ta recette me plait énormement , toutes les saveurs que j’aime sont là ;

Congrats on your award Carina, it’s well deserved! Also, thank you for the mention, it’s very appreciated. I look forward to checking out your other nominees.
Also, why New Orleans? I only ask because it’s my hometown.

i am not sure why NO, is odd since am nature freak but this city calls to me. maybe it is the italian immigrants, not sure, but i absolutely love NO and the people. you can feel the rhythm and history of city with your entire body and it takes you over 🙂 is almost like being homesick

You probably know that New Orleans is considered the most unique city in the US. When in New Orleans, one knows, without question, that one is indeed in New Orleans. I find it ironic that while many cities struggle to maintain their identity, New Orleans does not engage in that struggle. New Orleans, instead, embraces and welcomes all it’s different influences; French, Spanish, Italian, Irish, Native American, Caribbean, African, and so on. It’s this blending and acceptance which helps to make New Orleans a place where people feel ‘at home’ no matter where they originate. For me, no matter where I travel or live, it will always be home. It’s also shown that it can take a punch and bounce back. I will always be proud of my city.
